Biancomilo di Caselle, Etna Bianco Superiore - 2019

Sicilia

Cepage Carricante

Appelation Etna DOC

Vigneron Sive Natura

white White

Here is an Etna Bianco Superiore worthy of the name. Remember that Sive Natura is located on the eastern slope of the volcano, where the harsher climate, with significant temperature differences, gives the wines intense aromas.

Produced on a parcel perched at an altitude of 900 meters and facing the forest, this great white is exceptionally fresh! A beautiful structure, mineral without being acidic, with, on the finish, a flinty side typical of Mamma Etna.

A false white to serve at 16 degrees and to die for with a sea bass carpaccio.

SIVE NATURA

Sive Natura

The name of the estate chosen by Giuseppe is an ode to nature: Sive Natura refers to the expression of the Portuguese philosopher Baruch Spinoza "Deus Sive Natura", "God, that is to say Nature".

After years spent as enologist for the reknowned estate "Gulfi", and while still advising them, Giuseppe set up his own production and chose for that the Eastern slopes of the Etna volcano.

In his vineyards, the concept of “vigna giardino” (garden vineyard) takes on its full meaning: vines (including some centenary plants) grow between flowers, herbs and other fruit trees.
