Wine making
Fermentation and skin maceration for 24 days at 25°C. Malolactic fermentation and ageing in stainless steel vats. Bottled in the old-fashioned one-litre bottles with capsules.

Terroir :
Fattoria Pomona is located in Castellina in Chianti, at an altitude of 350 metres. The soil consists mainly of limestone marl rich in micro-elements. Piero Grosso's Sangiovese comes from the lower parts of the various vineyard plots.
