Appelation Langhe Nebbiolo DOC

Vigneron Tojo

white White

The elegance of this wine recalls the beauty of the hills of Piedmont from which it originates. It has a lovely bouquet of flowers, citrus fruit and white-fleshed fruit. Pleasant and refreshing, it's the perfect white wine for aperitifs and meals with fromage frais, fish and white meats. The first written records of the Favorita grape variety, a Piedmontese clone of Vermentino, date back to the 1600s.

TOJO

Tojo

Delia and Francesco, sister and brother winegrowers, are today the soul of the family heritage whose history dates back to the 20th century in Santo Stefano Belbo, with Vittorio, their great-grandfather, nicknamed Tojo. Since then, the years have passed, pouring with them in the family the passion for their fruit lands. Francesco follows the wine school of Alba and immediately joins his family to take up the torch. It is with pride that in 2016, the young winemaker offers his first wines!

Delia, meanwhile, decides to join her brother in the adventure after a freelance in other countries to gain experience. She is driven by the desire to undo the clichés about women in the wine world. The heritage bequeathed by their parents is very important for the siblings, and it shows. They take great pleasure in telling, during visits, stories and anecdotes of their father and grandfather, impregnated even in the vines. The secret ingredient? Highlighting the family as well as everything that can contribute to their happiness and that of the vineyard. Even Brigida, their dog and true mascot of the estate, has a prominent place in the heart of the Tojo estate, so much so that a wine was named in her honor!
