South-facing vineyards at an altitude of 250 metres, benefiting from the Apennine breeze. The soil is deep, compact, yellowish-grey clay marl, ideal for growing the Cortese grape variety.
People
LA CEDRAIA
Marco Cremonini has renovated the sublime 17th century family home, built of adobe, as well as the vineyard, which had fallen into oblivion in the 1960s. Located on the border between Piedmont and Liguria, the La Cedraia estate comprises 1.5 hectares of vines ideally exposed to the south. The wine produced there is the first Gavi recognized as coming from sustainable viticulture.
