Frascati Superiore - 2020
Here is a label that restores the somewhat tarnished reputation of Frascati: a DOCG Superiore that bears its name very well. Balanced wine, with intense aromas of white fruits and flowers and an elegant finish. Perfect pairing with Spaghetti cacio e pepe.

Vinification
Sweet pressing of grapes and selection of different parts of the grape must static clarification and devating. Addition of selected yeasts. Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature (approximately one week). Cold tartaric stabilization in December.
Terroir
Very fertile ground of volcanic origin, with an abundant presence of groundwater, which allows good irrigation of the vine. Vine pruning in cordone speronato (cord).
Le vigneron
The Carletti family, whose colors are now worn by the brothers Alessandro and Ferdinando, has been in control of Casale Marchese for about two centuries. Their magnificent home is built on the site of two ancient Roman cisterns. The Casale is indeed nestled in the heart of the Frascati DOCG appellation zone, which is part of the volcanic territory of the “Castelli Romani” (Roman Castles), south of Rome; the Italian capital can be seen from the balconies of the residence.
